The Studio is on Vacation!!

My husband and I are headed out for some much needed R&R after enduring a very long & cold winter. Once we get back, I'll be sharing some photos of our trip... so check back in about a week or so.. After I post my pictures, I'll see if you can guess where we went, and I'll make a contest out of it.

The studio will be on vacation until March 29th, so if you try to call, please know that I will not be returning calls until March 30th. Thank you for your business!

Happy Spring!

Facebook

I have caught the Facebook bug.. and probably like many of you who know what I'm talking about, I can NOT stop! LOL! I love it.. I have reconnected with friends that I grew up with in 3rd grade.. now how cool is that! I've been noticing how many other businesses are adding their business to Facebook, so I thought what a perfect idea, I might as well get my business listed on there as too. If you are Facebook member/fan, please look up my business and feel free to add yourself as a Fan :)

I'm listed in Facebook as "Studio 64 Photography". Feel free to browse around in the photo galleries that I've been adding.

As a bonus, if you have your portraits done with Studio 64, I will post, with your permission of course, some of the proofs and the photos that your order from your session on Facebook and you can share it with your friends and family to see. cool huh!

everyone be safe.. we are bracing for yet another winter blizzard!!

Chippewa National Forest

Yesterday it warmed up to a whopping 9 degrees, so I finally decided to get my buns out and go cross country skiing. I decided to travel just a few miles down the road from my house to Chippewa National Forest. Once I got over the inital "brrrr it's cold out" and starting warming up, I had a great time! It was so peaceful and beautiful and to top it off, I was the only person on the trails! Here are a few photos from my journey.

Paper Backdrop... First try

I've been seeing seamless paper used as a backdrop in all of the photography forums that I follow, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon so I bought some too. I bought two colors, one is purple as in these photos, and the other is kind of a robin egg blue. My niece came up to visit me this past weekend and I thought she would be the perfect test subject to try it out on. I believe she has finally reached an age where she actually likes to pose for the camera.. yeah!! These paper backdrops are sooo pretty and I think they would make an excellent backdrop for your Easter photos. Studio sessions scheduled and completed by March 15th are 50% off!!!! If you've been thinking it's picture update time.. now is a great time to do so. Call me at (218) 252-0582 or drop me an email at studio64@arvig.net to schedule your session.

If don't receive one of these cards.. well, the offer is still good for you. All you have to do,is mention that you saw it on my blog, and the REWARD can still be yours. Check out the card that I put together, it will have both a front and back side.. make sure you check out the REWARD side for the sweet offer.
