I just love how all of the summer flowers are in bloom and with all of the rain we have been getting this summer, the grass is sooo nice and green. This wonderful family contacted me to travel out to Brindley's Harbor Resort this summer to capture some memories of their families annual get together. This group traveled from Iowa and as far away as Connecticut. I absolutely love summer time and I adore using the many gorgeous lakes we have at our disposal as the backdrop to a perfect family memory. Here are a few of the favorites from their session. Family Portraits | Northern Minnesota

Recently I had the pleasure of capturing my dear friend Linda's family. I packed up my gear, headed up to their house just outside of Guthrie and captured some sweet innocent pictures of the her new little grandson, her two little future granddaughters, and of course we did a quick portrait of Linda with her spouse and two sons. I just love how green everything at this time of year and to me, I absolutely love shooting outside and using nature as the backdrop. We did however, keep the new little guy indoors and just used some wonderful window light to light him.

Senior Portraits | Nevis Minnesota | Class of 2011

I'm sure I will say this every time it's the start of Senior Portraits season, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Senior portraits. It's a time where I'm allowed more freedom to tap into the creative side of creating portraits that are unique and fun that both the senior and the parents will love.

Here are just a few of my first senior, Nick, who is graduating from Nevis High School. Good luck to ya Nick.. If you couldn't tell, I thought his sunglasses were totally cool..... I'm not sure his mom thought so.. but I was fascinated by the reflection we got in the studio and outdoors.. we got a really neat reflection of my driveway in one of them..

Sweet brothers {Northern Minnesota Children's Photography}

Presenting Mr. C who is 3 1/2 and Mr. E whom is 18 months... Two of the cutest little guys I know. All I have to say is father's lock up your daughters, when these 2 little dudes get older, I have a feeling they will be melting the hearts of many many girls..

ok... swoon.... here are Mr. C & Miss M, they are two absolutely beautiful children that I have had the priveledge to take portraits of over the past year. Miss M came to me when she was one month old (seems like yesterday) and now she has turned the big 1. I have to tell you that their parents are going to be busy chasing both guys and girls away when these 2 get older.. I think they are going to be breaking some hearts!
