Senior Portraits | Northern Minnesota

It's Senior Portrait Time at Studio 64 Photography. Not only is the hot summer in full swing, but so is Senior Portrait time. I love this time of year and what better way to top off my love of summer, is my love for Senior Portraits. Here are just a few of the lovely ladies that I've had the priveledge to work with so far this summer.
This is Ellen. She was a complete Riot. We got some of the most unique shots that truly describe her personality.


This is Kailey. She was an absolute sweetheart to work with.





This is Kristi, she was a total sweetheart with the most calming personality. I would give anything to have her long beautiful hair!


The is Chelsea. She is a gem.. and was an absolute pleasure to work with.


As we were finishing Chelsea's portraits down by the Lake, it was pretty cloudy, so wasn't sure if we were going to get a good sunset.. thank goodness we stuck around.. isn't the sky amazing.. this shot is basically straight out of my camera. I did nothing to edit the colors.. beautiful huh? :)


This is Laura.. what a gorgeous young woman.. she was awesome to work with!!!


and last but not least, this is "Buddy". Buddy belongs to Laura, we tried a couple of other times to get Buddy to sit nice for a portrait, and finally when Laura went to change her outfit, we turned around and saw Buddy sitting on the dock in the perfect pose with the perfect doggy smile!

cute.. cute.. cute.... new fresh mohawks for the older 2 and a whole bunch of cuteness all around.  Can you say outnumbered, poor mama, but seriously these are some of the sweetest and cutest little boys in Northern Minnesota.    Thank goodness for summer, cuz we sure had fun with the outdoors portraits here at Studio 64's property.

Northern Minnesota Children's Portraits

Two of my absolute favorite sweethearts that I'm priveledged to photograph every year. Their mom wanted to know if they could bring along one of their "play" outfits and of COURSE without hesitation I said YES!!! I love it when my clients want to add a bit of a fun element into their portrait sessions.

Family Portraits | Audrey's Purple Dream

For the past few years, I have donated a portrait session to the Audrey's Purple Dream Event which is held each year in Akeley, Minnesota on 11th Crow Wing Lake.

The money raised for the event goes towards local residents who have cancer that wish to live out a dream. This is an amazing event as we all know someone in our life that is suffering and has suffered from cancer.

Each year prizes are given away for those who purchase a "button" to help support and raise money for the event.

Last year, the Geimer family won my portrait session. Here are just a few portraits I captured of this wonderful family!

Spring time in Northern Minnesota

wait 10 minutes and the weather will change.. yep.. this is Northern Minnesota. I was wearing flip flops and getting a sunburn on Saturday. This morning.. not so much. The best part though about spring snowstorms is that they don't stick around that long and they do make for some beautiful pictures. What's it doing in your area today? :)

4 Month Old | Red Hair, Blue Eyed beauty!!

I don't think I've ever photographed a red haired little cutie before.. and to top it off.. she has the most AMAZING blue eyes. This little sweetie will be back for her 9 months and her one year portraits as she is part of Studio 64's Newborn Baby Plan.. I can't wait to watch how she grows.
