alright.. who ordered 12 inches of snow for Christmas? well, me kind of :) I actually didn't hear the official total accumulation of snowfall that we received over the Christmas Holiday, but I did go snowshoeing and I'm positive each step that I took, my foot sank about a foot. This is my favorite kind of snow (yes there are different types :) I just love it.. it's soo pretty and makes the trees look so picturesque. If you didn't get any snow for the Christmas Holiday, well here you go, you can enjoy looking at some of ours. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Georgous Family
I recently had the opportunity and pleasure of photographing The Collins family, and what a beautiful family they are, soooo photogenic. Jackie, the mother is working on opening up a new store in Walker, Minnesota called LA~CE. Her store will be a boutique shop offering Trend setting home decor, one of a kind wall art, candles, serving ware and a wide array of books and much more. Jackie is having a shopping day on December 12th from 10-5 at The Chase condotel #2211. So if you don't have your (cough cough) Christmas shopping done yet.. mosey on over there and take a peek. If you are like me, you'll probably find something for yourself, which seems to be why I'm probably not done shopping yet! Happy Holidays!

Twins!
Adorable! check out twins Mr. K and Miss E, both of these little cuties came to my studio last year for their one year old portraits and now that they turned 2, they stopped by again to show me just how darn cute they are in their formal attire which they proudly wore in a wedding just a short while a go.

She came up to visit her grandma in Northern Minnesota and Grandma had this great idea of getting Miss G's 3 year old portraits done at my Studio.. She is absolutely precious and has the biggest blue eyes and long beautiful hair to prove it. enjoy!

Fall Family photos
I'm so lucky to watch these two little guys grow up, Mr. C the oldest is coming up on 3 years old in January, and Mr. E.. the little guy.. he will be 1 in November. We quick did some studio portraits and then jumped outside to my driveway and took some awesome photos of the little guys on their John Deere Tractor set.. how cute is that!! We also got a quick family photo of mom and dad as well. The leaves were absolutely breathtaking.. but sadly are now all gone.

Katie.. last senior of the season..
or.. so I think anyways.. here's Katie. a smart, sweet and stylish gal. (Katie you have some awesome shoes by the way).. Katie invited me out to her parents home to capture her senior portraits. The day was rainy, and in fact, I wasn't quite sure we were going to make this happen, but Katie still wanted to go for it, and I'm glad we did, the rain held out during our 2 hour session and I believe we captured some great portraits.. Thank you for inviting me to your beautiful home. Good luck on graduating from not only high school, but for getting your associates degree from college at the same time.

TJ
I have been waiting for ever to post these photos.. well, not forever, maybe a few weeks. We started back in mid September and completed TJ's studio portraits, and then patiently waited and then waited some more for our fall colors to come out of hiding so we could do his outdoor portraits. Finally last week, our colors came out of hiding and we were finally able to finish TJ's portraits.
TJ is an amazingly talented guy. TJ won in April 2009 at the annual State Regional MSHL art competition - a Superior Rating for his drawing of a 65 ford mustang. He took home one of the only 13 Superior medals given out, out of 67 drawings entered. He also won the superintendent's choice for his local HS spring art show with another car drawing. He calls his style of custom art "fuel art". He uses pencil, ink, ad markers and a small amount of paint.
