Erick - WHA Class of 2010

ok.. now this session was FUN!!!!!! Erick is graduating from WHA Class of 2010 and wanted me to take pictures of him skateboarding.. ok I thought, well this could be interesting.. so I researched all I could, cuz I was not going to let him down, and voila.. I think we captured some pretty COOL photos of him at his skateboard park! Of course we had to sneak some "real" studio type one's of him too. Thanks Erick and Beth.. I think you just helped me kick my photography skills up a notch! enjoy.....

Three beauties!

wow.. gorgeous.. gorgeous...gorgeous.... recently I had the pleasure of photographing these three sisters... all I can say.. is Mom & Dad.. you better watch out.. I have a feeling the boys are going to be chasing these girls...unless of the course the chase has already begun!

Senior Season!

Summer time means senior portraits .. and to me.. this means fun! Meet Isabelle.. she goes to school in Sioux Falls South Dakota, she was referred to me by one of my best girl friends (Thanks Stacy!). Now.. I don't live in Sioux Falls, but all of my immediate family does and while I went down for a visit, I met with Isabelle to do her senior portraits. The only bummer part, is that we were going to also do some portraits outside... however, mother nature didn't cooperate with gusty winds of over 25 mph.. so.. we kind of nixed that idea. Windy weather and girls with long hair really do not go hand in hand. ... anywho.. here are some of my favorites of Isabelle... she was such a sweet and might I add a vert smart and stunning gal!

July 11th Wedding

July 11th was an absolutely beautiful and perfect day for a wedding. I was so very lucky to be apart of Jake & Jenn's wedding as their wedding photographer. Jake & Jenn exchanged their vows in front of friends and family with 11th Crow Wing Lake as their gorgeous backdrop. Congratulations and many happy wishes for your future.. thank you for being so fun and easy to work with!

Nieces were in town

I have no problem admitting that I think my nieces are the cutest nieces ever.. just look at them.. they came up to visit for the first time this past weekend and brought along some brand new outfits because they knew Aunt LeAnn would be sticking the camera in their face. The key to this success I believe was that fact that I found the danciest station I could find on the Satellite and cranked it.. oh man.. did we all have some fun.. we wound up with some of the best pictures I've captured of them yet..

4th of July

can we say.... perfect weather.. yep.. that's what we finally had over the 4th of July weekend. I headed up to Grand Rapids Minnesota for the 4th to hang out with 2 of my great girlfriends. We spent the weekend at Wabana Lake which is just north of Grand Rapids about 10 miles, we did a little celebrating, a little boating, took a really exhilirating roller blading trip, and had a little fun with fireworks. Here are just a few photos from the weekend, needless to say.. there are no photos from the roller blading trip... although I didn't fall down, going warp speed down some of those hills would not have been camera friendly.. therefore the camera stayed back at the house...
