New Logo!
I strongly agree with when you have a project that you would like to undertake and you have no idea of what you are doing... you should leave it to the pros!!! I finally decided to hire a graphic designer to help me come up with a new logo, because honestly, mine was just not doing it for me! I hired www.designsbytaz.com. Taz was great.. but I'm sure she is glad to be rid of me.. LOL.. I wanted a symbol that reflected and fit the Northern Minnesota landscape that we live in! I just love it.. it's soo modern and fresh..

St. Patty's Twins
Sometimes a good cake smash is what every little 1 one year needs. These two cuties/twins recently came by to smile big for the camera. We had one walking and one not quite walking.. let's just say between three adult women, we were definitely sweating by the end of their session, and in fact, I even wound up with cake on my camera lens. ha ha.. Mr. R and Mr. J are turning one on St. Patty's Day.. Happy Birthday little guys!

Soup Saver Scoop
So, I guess I could kind of compare my kitchen to a mans garage. I MUST have any tool out there that will make my cooking life easier. I recently got an opportunity to do a product shoot for Sharon Busch, LLC. Sharon invented a life saver of a scoop for your kitchen. I have to tell you, this is the first "tool" I grab from my kitchen drawer everytime I'm cooking something, unless of course it's pizza or flippin eggs... ha. Anyways.. seriously you really need to check out Sharon's "Soup Saver Scoop". You can order them right from her website! I hope my family doesn't see this blog post, because they are all getting one of these scoops the next time I see them. For more information, check out http://soupsaverscoop.com/

Blizzard Portraits!
Remember the big blizzard we had during Christmas! Although it ruined many peoples travel plans, it sure didn't ruin Lindsay's Senior portraits! This was such a cool session, after we completed her studio portraits, we drove over to her place and walked through the woods where the snow was deep and the trees made for spectacular backdrops. Lindsay was so incredibly brave, it was literally dumping while we were taking her portraits, and at the end, she ditched her coat and laid in the snow! Now how unique are her portraits! Love em

9 Month old cutie!!
Over the past nine months, I've had the pleasure of capturing the growth stages of cute little Miss M. She is just precious, and has a smile that will one day melt all of the boys hearts :) You just have to check her out.. can you believe how absolutely beautiful her christening gown is.. I mean wow!
Also, I'm headed out to Nashville Saturday the 9th and will be gone all of next week to learn from from some of the biggest names in the photography industry. I can't wait to come home with new ideas.
The Studio will be closed January 9th through January 15th. I'll try to bring back any remaining warm weather they might be having, although it looks like I'll still be bringing my warm coat.. boo!

snowwwww
alright.. who ordered 12 inches of snow for Christmas? well, me kind of :) I actually didn't hear the official total accumulation of snowfall that we received over the Christmas Holiday, but I did go snowshoeing and I'm positive each step that I took, my foot sank about a foot. This is my favorite kind of snow (yes there are different types :) I just love it.. it's soo pretty and makes the trees look so picturesque. If you didn't get any snow for the Christmas Holiday, well here you go, you can enjoy looking at some of ours. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
