Funniest Photo Contest

Now don't get me wrong.. I love a good "Cutest Kids Photo Contest" but everyone has them. Maybe it's me being a litte quirky, or maybe it's because I LOVE nothing better than a good laugh.

Sometimes I'll sit at my computer reading the hysterical thing's that my friends post on Facebook about what their kid said or did that day, and I'll just bust out laughing... (I sure hope my friends are journaling this stuff)

This is what this contest was intended to do... to make you laugh. and you know what they say... laughter is the best medicine.

So go get some medicine and VOTE for your Favorite "Funny" Photo that makes you laugh.

The following Prizes will be awarded.
The Grand Prize winner will be awarded a Studio Photo Shoot valued at $265
The Second Runner up will be awarded a Studio Photo Shoot valued at $165.

Children's "Funniest" Photo Contest

Who doesn’t love a good laugh.. and who better to make you laugh than a CHILD!  I know you all have at least one hysterical photo of your child, .. you know, the one that everytime you come across it.. you bust a gut.. yep that one.  

Soooo, dig through your photos and find that “Funniest photo of your child"  cuz we are having a CONTEST

ELIGIBLITY

Contest is open for children who are currently 6 months of age - age 6 only

This is an individual photo contest, only one child per household is allowed.   The child can be included in a group photo, however, the "one" child is only eligible for the prizes. 


HOW THIS WORKS


FIRST

A)  “Like” Studio 64 on Facebook to keep on top of the contest details and happenings.  "Like" Here 
or, if you are not on Facebook
B) Register to "Follow" this Blog 
(scroll all of the way to bottom of this blog and sign up as follower)

SECOND

1. Complete the Registration/Photo Submission form between the dates of Feb 27th – MIDNIGHT on March 3rd ONLY!  All registration forms and photos must be received by midnight on March 3rd to be included in the contest. Photos received after the deadline cut off date/time will not be eligible. 

VOTING

Voting for your favorite "funniest" photo will take place on this blog between the dates of March 9^th and will end at 6pm CST on March 16^th. 
Once voting opens, each person voting is allowed "ONE" vote only.  When the voting system is up, it will be announced on Studio 64's Facebook Page and this blog.

WHAT YOU WIN

GRAND PRIZE  (photo with the Most Votes)
Free 30 minute Studio session for the winning child.  (1) 11x14, (1) 8x10, (2) 5x7's from your 2 favorite poses - valued at $275

RUNNER UP (2nd most votes)
Free 15 minute Studio session for the winning child – 1 outfit, (1) 8x10, (2) 5x7's of your favorite 1 pose - valued at $165

Everyone who registers an eligible photo in the contest will receive a $50 discount on a future session to be used by Dec 31^st, 2012.  Only one discount per family.

RULES (cuz we gotta have em)

1. Complete the Registration/Photo Submission form between the dates of  Feb 27th – Midnight on March 3rd ONLY.  All registration forms and photos must be received by midnight on March 3rd to be included in the contest.  Photos received after the deadline cut off date/time will not be eligible.  Studio 64 reserves the right to reject photos that are deemed inappropriate.

3. Only one vote per person please.  Let's be fair and honest so it's fun for everyone.  I will remove those photos from the contest suspected of cheating.

4. Encourage your friends, coworkers, and family to come to this blog to vote.

5. NO PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS ALLOWED!

6. Voting will take place on Studio 64's Blog beginning March 9th and will end at 6pm on March 16th.   

7.  Winners will be officially announced on Studio 64's Facebook Page and here on this Blog on Monday, March 19th.
    
8. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and may NOT be transferred.

9. All contest winners must be eligible to travel to Studio 64 for their session.

10. You must be 18 years or older to submit a photo to the contest.

11. All childrens names will NOT be posted on the BLOG to protect your identity.  They will only be identified by a number.

Family Portraits | Park Rapids Minnesota

This wonderful family contacted me as they were celebrating their parents 40th Anniversary at their lake home in Park Rapids. Just as I headed out to their portrait session, the darkest most ominious sky's apeared out of nowhere and it rained as hard as it possibly could.. until I pulled into their driveway and voila.. sun and perfect shooting weather.. whew!!! We wound up with some beautiful portraits of their time together!

Shooting portraits outdoors means never knowing what mother nature will have in store.... like this portrait session. I headed over to their property, set up my lights and the sky opened up and said oh not you don't. Plan B, pack up, reschedule for the next a.m., back into the same outfits and wow.. we captured these amazing portraits. This family is located all over the United States and it is VERY rare that they are all able to get together.. They now have some beautiful memories of their well deserved time spent together!
